A year of change for the HSA

14 September 2016

The year in review – Annual Report 2015-16 now published

HSA’s Annual Report has now been published and highlights a year of change as the charity became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation, thus moving to a more modern legal structure to ensure it runs as efficiently as possible.

As well as expanding its international reach and influence, the HSA also marked 30 years of the Dorothy Sidley Memorial Scholarships and supported research into more humane methods of Halal-compliant slaughter of cattle.

HSA’s Chief Executive Dr Robert Hubrecht said: “We are extremely grateful to all of our members and supporters who have helped to make our achievements this year possible.  Their generosity and ongoing support is reflected in the progress we’ve made this year.”
